On 9th November a team from PM Property Lawyers will join the Sleep Out for Roundabout, fundraising for local youth homeless charity, Roundabout.
They will brave the cold in a draughty warehouse, bedding down in sleeping bags on a concrete floor. “It can’t replicate the real experience of being homeless,” says Kay Liddle, PA, who is taking part for the second year in a row . “But it will raise vital funds for Roundabout and the young people they support.”
Roundabout is a Sheffield charity, working to prevent youth homelessness in the city and supporting 16 – 24 year olds who find themselves without somewhere to live. They provide shelter, support and life skills to more than 150 young people every day.
Anthony Williams, post-completions assistant at PMPL, took part in the Sleep Out last year and is participating again. “It was absolutely freezing!” he says. “But I’m doing it again because it’s a wonderful charity that helps vulnerable young adults in my home town.”
The team are aiming to raise at least £800 from the Sleep Out. “We’d be massively grateful for any donations, small or large,” says Managing Director Harvey Harding who is also tackling the Sleep Out for the second time. The team have set up a page for donations on JustGiving here.
