Team Leader – Conveyancing Legal Assistants

We are excited to announce that we are now looking to add a Team Leader to oversee a team of conveyancing legal assistants within the Conveyancing department. This includes working with fellow Team Leaders to ensure all of the departmental KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved. The role also involves providing general administration assistance always delivering the highest level of customer service to clients.

Role responsibilities:

  • Communication with clients over the telephone, by email and in fact to face meetings. Liaising with other solicitors and professional organisations always providing the highest level of customer service to clients.
  • Ensure all departmental KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved with the support of the Team Manager
  • Effectively manage and motivate your allocated team
  • Hold regular 121’s, training, coaching and team meetings with your allocated team
  • Carry out regular audits of files and phone calls to provide feedback as part of 121
  • Monitor your team and your individual staff performance daily
  • Manage any underperformance or improvement requirements in a timely manner
  • Overseeing the training of all new starters to the team
  • Create a positive and inspiring team environment and culture
  • Feedback on a weekly and monthly basis to the Team Manager with team performance and any issues
  • Be the first point of contact for complex queries from your appointed team
  • To always provide the highest level of customer service to clients and stakeholders
  • To contact clients for all new case instructions within strict SLA’s
  • Maintain 80% service level on calls received into the department and ensure team is meeting this as a minimum average each month
  • Ensuring we meet the SLA for responding to secure messages via our app
  • Drafting sale contracts and re-mortgage documentation as required
  • To attend and contribute in team meetings
  • To always comply with all policies and procedures
  • To undertake such duties as the Head of Department may reasonably require from time to time

  • Excellent knowledge of the conveyancing process with relevant experience of working within Conveyancing / Property Sector
  • Previous experience of successfully managing a team
